The Role:
- To shape the growth of a data capability within a well known media business
- The scope of the role is broad, involving significant cross-departmental interaction, and an end-to-end coverage of projects from design through to implementation and deployment.
- The aim is toward continual improvement of data flows within the organisation.
- Database design, implementation/change, tuning and support
- Database integration with external data feeds, platforms, workflow and reporting tools
- Data integrity and consistency
- Management of data processes and delivery timelines
- Delivery of data to end-users
- 3+ Years as a Data Engineer with further experience in the BI Space previously
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with the data lifecycle
- Development of APIs in a microservice architecture
- RDBMS performance analysis and tuning
- Excellent Python skills
- Web front-end experience
- Integration with external platforms, data feeds, ETL
