How you'll role

This leading performance agency is looking for a skilled and experienced Data Scientist / Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, data analysis, or data engineering, with extensive experience in using various data visualisation tools and programming languages.

This role will involve working closely with their clients and internal teams to develop robust, integrated reporting solutions that provide actionable insights. You will leverage your expertise in data visualisation, data analysis, and data engineering to create solutions that drive strategic decisions and optimise marketing and sales efforts.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes
• Develop integrated dashboards using data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Domo or LookerStudio
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making
• Work with marketing and sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Conduct marketing mix modeling to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize marketing spend

What you'll need

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a data science, data analysis, or similar role
• Data Visualization: Proficient in using PowerBI, Tableau or similar for data visualization and dashboard development (experience with QlikView and Qlik Sense is highly advantageous)
• Programming: Proficiency in Python or another programming language
• Marketing Data: Experience working with marketing data is beneficial
• REST APIs: Familiarity with REST API fundamentals and experience in extracting data from various APIs
• SQL: Strong skills in SQL for data manipulation and querying
• Client Collaboration: Experience working directly with clients to develop custom reporting solutions
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Additional Tools: Experience with Domo is beneficial
