What will you be doing?

The real estate market is undergoing a significant and exciting change – driven by data and technology. The main focus of this position will be analyzing European Commercial Real Estate data across all sectors. The role includes responsibility over the Enterprise Data Platform for Continental Europe, and will encompass internal and external reporting on the back of this. The role will establish a profound relationship with the local research teams as well as provide support to the global research platform.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with national CBRE research teams to gather statistics and commentaries on European Commercial Real Estate markets;
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on incoming queries regarding business challenges or opportunities;
  • Prepare regular and quarterly management- and research reports for internal and external purposes and further enhancement of these;
  • Review and evaluate collected European data and securing data quality, consistency, accuracy and comprehensiveness;
  • Automate manual tasks and reports by making intelligent use of available ETL and dashboarding software;
  • Collaborate with Digital & Technology and Customer success teams on improving platforms and data products.


What can you offer us?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics or related disciplines;
  • You have relevant international (European) professional experience in an analytically oriented, data, or quantitative role;
  • You have basic knowledge of some of the following technologies; Alteryx, SQL, Python, R, relational database concepts, and an intrinsic motivation to develop these skills;
  • You have basic knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI and enjoy converting data into valuable insights;
  • You have strong numerical skills including the ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of numerical data into clearly defined outputs based on a project driven approach;
  • You think in terms of optimism, opportunities and innovation;
  • You have an excellent understanding of the English language considering the majority of your tasks, but the Dutch language comes in handy.

What will your team look like?

You will work in a hybrid team of central and in-country Data and Business Intelligence analysts and report directly to one of the European Data analysts. In the team we work together with colleagues from other countries, departments and clients of CBRE.
