About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Kitch and our Data team. You will be the first person on the team, together with a Data Engineer, building the function from scratch.
You will be the link between data producers (our engineering team) and data consumers (the whole business) at Kitch. The first focus will be to transform our data into a readable and easily accessible database for the whole business through dashboards that will impact our strategic decisions.
You will also help unify different data sources into one in a compliant way.
Responsibilities
- Define the data needs of the organization;
- Transform our reader database into operational tables, reports and dashboards that the whole business can use and consume;
- Create and maintain new aggregated views and tables to simplify data querying;
- Create and maintain new dashboards to track metrics and visualize insights;
- Promoting data literacy across the company, organizing and holding workshops;
- Build strong documentation around data definitions;
- Unify different data sources into one in a compliant way.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, or relevant experience in data (high-growth tech experience a plus);
- 3+ years of experience using SQL;
- Business driven: you understand and are curious about solving problems;
- Experience with Metabase or other data visualization tools;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- A self-starter mentality and the ability to thrive in an unstructured and fast-paced environment;
We'd love to see:
- Experience with Python is considered a plus;
- Strong background / education in a quantitative discipline.
