Freelance Data Analyst - Brussels

Dark Light is a staffing agency specializing in the recruitment and outsourcing of data and business intelligence profiles. We are currently seeking a Data Analyst for a client within the government in Brussels.

Tasks

• Analyse existing SQL-queries & help the team understand the results
• Execute searches in the databases with a focus on basic queries
• Intake of requirements of the business (functional analysis)
• Organise & lead the requirements meetings
• Understanding technical decision-making components such as ETL, Datamart, Report, with an emphasis on understanding activities without going into technical details
  
  
  

Requirements

• +5 years of experience as Funtional Analyst/Data Analyst
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with analyzing existing code
• Understanding of technical decision-making components within Business Intelligence
• Fluent in English (Dutch/French is a plus)
• Experience in finance or government is a plus
