Supply Chain Data Analyst

Job description

  • This company works with health services and suppliers to manage the flow of goods and services across the Victorian health sector
  • This includes operating an end-to-end supply chain and the establishment of a new distribution centre
  • The position sits within the Supply Chain Information Team and plays a key role in evolving the systems
  • Multiple opportunities available for contract & permanent
  • Lead initiatives to improve product descriptions and terminology used. Liaise with counterparts in other Jurisdictions to develop and agree on standards and implementation approach.
  • Match, merge, compare and report on data sourced from multiple channels and make it easily accessible
  • Support and improve on the VBA, Python and Excel formulas required for standardising and improving data quality
  • Provide expertise and guidance to customers in relation to the catalogue data, systems and processes
  • Maintain relevant systems for storage and updates for functional equivalents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel (particularly VBA and macro development)
  • Knowledge of relational databases and tools like SQL
  • Strong business process, data analysis and reporting skills
  • Experience with data matching and data cleansing
  • Experience working in a corporate environment, preferably in public health
  • Python or Power BI desirable
