Key Responsibilities
Complete functional specification & documentation for remote monitoring system
Assist with development of scope of work and provide minimum data requirements for implementing remote monitoring systems at new clients
Develop hybrid data processing & storage system, capable of local processing of raw data on site and transmission of compressed files to cloud for additional processing
Lead the launch of monitoring system with a modular approach for services, actively seeking feedback from users
Integrate data between on-site monitoring systems and the ERP system to provide insights on logistics and service improvements
Develop maintenance scheduling module using data from ERP system and calibrate the system with the client for accuracy
Customize and adapt developed modules to client-specific data as needed
Utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets for various clients and equipment
Create comprehensive and meaningful dashboards
Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and data insights
Translate visualizations into actionable processes and efficiencies
Articulate technical and other necessary information to relevant clients
Deliver data outcomes, from analysis to technical and business intelligence insights, to Predictive and Advanced ML/AI outcomes
Collaborate with clients to ensure a comprehensive and accurate understanding of their requirements, devising effective resolutions through innovative data solutions or methodologies
Report findings and recommendations to clients, ensuring relevance and value
Influence and lead conversations with clients through quantitative mechanisms
Manage, build, and improve reporting, analytics, and data exploration capabilities
Collaborate with employees from different departments to enhance data analysis and insights

Requirements Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
1-3 years’ experience in a data science environment, preferably with mining and mineral processing experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Creative approach for generating new ideas
High level of computer literacy
Effective prioritization and planning abilities
Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Familiarity with relational and time scale databases
Proficiency in programming (C#, C++, Python, Java, or R)
Competency in database query languages (SQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience in using cloud services, preferably certified in Azure or AWS
Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence concepts and algorithms, with application experience
Understanding of deployment of Machine Learning algorithms (beneficial)
Knowledge in plant signals and systems modeling and interpretation
Basic understanding of web technology stack (front-end and back-end) is beneficial but not required
