You will write and deploy your own new code creating new insights into litigation behavior.
You work with product leaders and legal experts to help us decide what to build and whether what we built is working.
You spend time learning about new technologies to produce more reliable and explainable results.
Your code is reviewed by other members of the engineering team, and you review their code too.
You invest time in the team by helping others with their tasks and professional development, by suggesting ideas, sharing best practices, and pairing occasionally.
You have been building natural language processing software professionally for 5+ years and have successfully released software to customers.
You write code in Python or Java.
You think querying complex legal data using SQL databases and counting things could be fun.
You work well in a team-oriented organization due to your excellent communication skills and empathy.
You have a Masters degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, code academy, or work experience.
Java expertise is fantastic; or a willingness to learn and use it.
Lucene experience is great; ElasticSearch understanding is fantastic.
Experience applying deep neural networks to real-world problems is great.
Reviewable code samples or community participation.
