Are you a seasoned data analyst with a knack for finance and a background in private equity or venture capital? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join a leading private equity firm, managing and analysing data across their portfolio of eight dynamic scale up businesses.

Rate: £600/day

Contract Type: Outside IR35

Location: Mainly remote (London preferred)

About The Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and enhance performance across the firm’s portfolio. Your expertise will be critical in addressing finance and sales-related challenges, providing actionable insights that contribute to the growth and efficiency of the portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse financial and sales data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
• Collaborate closely with portfolio companies to understand their data needs and deliver solutions.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
• Work with senior stakeholders to align data analysis with business objectives.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst within the PE or VC sector.
• Strong finance background with a focus on financial and sales data analysis.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Experience working across multiple portfolio businesses is highly desirable.
• Based in London is a bonus, but not essential.
