The Role


As a member of Eligibility Tracking Team Denali Squad, you will blend deep data engineering, cloud, and development expertise to help reinvent Fidelity’s Eligibility Tracking Capabilities and expand them to be cross-practice. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and prove data-centric capabilities.


The Expertise And Skills You Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree required and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
  • Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)
  • Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning.
  • Public Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development.
  • Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.
  • Familiarity with large complex system design
  • Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus.
  • Shell scripting experience.
  • Linux environment experience.
  • Financial services experience preferred.

The Team


You will join the Denali squad where you will be a collaborate with a cross functional group of architects, cloud experts, operational lead, business leads, and other members of the team to Define, Build, Refine, and Evolve a resilient data platform in support of cross-product Eligibility Tracking. Our mission is to Create robust data-centric infrastructure capabilities enabling reinvention of WI’s eligibility tracking capabilities.
