Data Analyst – App Management LCM

Who we are looking for

This resource not only supports the program by working with PTS, GAD, GTS resourses to complete Discovery, Detailed Planning, Migration and Closure activities but also provides

application collection, CMDB support, support of process questions, escalation of delivery tasks along with analysis and corrective action on tracked assets which are missing critical data.

What you will be responsible for

As Data Analyst – App Management support the Lifecycle Program under the direction of Global Application Development (GAD) leadership working with external vendor and internal IT departments. Resource facilitates Discovery, Detailed Planning, Migration and Closure activities on assigned application set. Heavy workload with GAD resources to meet regularly with app owners, deliver key tasks, including: application collection, CMDB support, support of process questions, escalation of delivery tasks, etc. Provide analysis and corrective action on tracked assets which are missing critical data.

Perform RECONs among the applications provided by PTS and State State senior staff - allowing us to determine priority/clarification.

Development of project profiles that can be leveraged across platforms, apps, business units going forward.

General understanding or applications functions and infrastructure components associated to the applications. Ability to explain issues and delays among both teams (app & Infra). May also offer write ups to applications progress - which allow management to know if escalation is required.

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Indepth knowledge of CMDB for all infrastructure keys: storage, network, BUR, Open Systems, MidRange, Mainframe, Middleware, Database, etc.
  • Superior Excel skillset
  • Familiar with workflow concepts
  • Familiar with Project Mgmt terminology
  • Work independently
  • Change priorities daily

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum one year related experience
