Location - Macclesfield - (can be up to 80% remote). 2 days a fortnight in the office.

Salary - up to £60,000

Oscar Technology have partnered with a fast scaling business who are looking for a computer vision engineer to take some business critical projects and put them into action.

The company already have a well-established and widely used product portfolio, they are now looking to expand on that, and AI is a way of taking new products to their existing customer base.

The role

You will take the lead on the company's computer vision projects which are a key part of their growth plans as they look to expand their product offering. You will be tasked with taking the project through the R&D phase and into production.

Some Responsibilities

• Assess, manage and maintain current predictive models with a view to enhancing or replacing them.
• Work on producing new analytics based on customer feedback and product development roadmap requirements.
• Perform R&D to develop prototypes/proof of concepts driven by blue sky requirements from clients and our product team.

Skills

• Experience with computer vision tools and techniques is a must.
• General Data Science and Machine Learning Experience
• Bonus - Experience with Video Imaging and YOLO. (Not essential)
• Bonus - MongoDB knowledge. (Not essential)
• Bonus - Tensorflow Experience (Not Essential)
