Summary

The Beyond Sr. Data Analyst will be an integral member of the Beyond Operations team within the Genesys Customer Success organization. The Beyond Sr. Data Analyst will contribute to our data-driven strategy and business management model. The Beyond Sr. Data Analyst will be a key team member in driving the ability for the Beyond business to make data drive decisions.

We are currently seeking a Sr. Data Analyst who has been successful in partnering with business customers to both translate their business needs into actionable deliverables for analytics, as well as educating the same internal customers on possible ways to fulfill their business needs leveraging data (proactive, predictive, and responsive). The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

• Interpreting Customer and financial data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
• Developing and implementing financial data analysis, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Data visualization for management monitoring and decision making
• Senior Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design.
• Sr. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
• Understanding data structures to turn business requests into actionable data outputs

Responsibilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using data visualization and provide ongoing reports
• Data analytics and other strategies that optimize data-driven decisions and quality
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Ability to follow and understand data requirements with minimal supervision
• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
• Strong knowledge of and experience with BI Analytic tools (Tableau, Power BI), database query languages (SQL), programming (Python, R)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Data visualization and story-telling insights
• Proven ability to complete deliverables on-time

Measures for Success:

• Curation and development of data sources, reporting templates, and dashboards for management.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends in complex data sets.
• Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics, or 5 years of relevant work-related experience in a quantitative field.
• Proven experience with the development and implementation of systems/tool utilized for Salesforce, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, workflows, validation rules, etc.
• Understanding of sales processes and pipeline management.
• Strong knowledge of and experience writing in SQL.
• SOQL knowledge a plus.
• Advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in Salesforce workflows, Einstein, Snowflake, Amazon S3, Databricks, Tableau, and running SQL queries.
• Tableau, Power BI, or Looker experience preferred.
• Experience with KNIME or Python is a plus.
• Working knowledge of data science principles is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years professional experience in analytics or operations type role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of presenting to senior management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to be able to capture stakeholder needs and translate them into written application and operational requirements.
• Strong team player with ability to work cross-culturally and across business units.
