Our development unit develops software which controls, supervises, and analyzes the base stations´ functionality, which enables our mobile networks around the world. These mobile networks handle huge amounts of data, are the core to the accelerating digital transformation, and builds our connected IoT society where everything that can be connected will be connected.
In our unit, DSI Analytics, an integral part of Networks R&D, we collect, ingest, and archive data from Ericsson's labs and customers' networks all over the world.
We are looking for a leader with data engineering/data science skill set. You will be the operational product owner (OPO) for our team of data scientists/engineers.
What you will do
We use machine learning to understand product behavior in the field. This helps us to avoid demounting HW in customer networks. The data science results do not happen without great data engineering work, so the team builds systems that collect, manage and convert raw data into usable information as well as crafting efficient, scalable data pipelines solutions for large data using Python and distributed frameworks like Spark and Dask.
Set vision and technical roadmap of our products- Describe the value to be delivered to the team and work together to refine the backlog into actionable stories with a clear definition of what should be done
- Be responsible for making sure that the backlog for your team is always up-to-date and prioritized
- Depending on your background, you can also work with the team with the data engineering and science tasks
- Cooperate with Strategic Product Management, System architects and Project Management and SW teams as well as OPOs globally on different sites
You will bring
- We believe that you are passionate about data analysis and want to be the driving force to continue the industrialization of our models and MLOPS
- You are a technical leader that easily builds trust with people
- You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent
- At least 5 years demonstrated ability in product development
- A genuine interest in people and good communication skills
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries
- A large degree of flexibility and willingness to tackle different tasks
