Are you a Data Scientist with at least 3 years of experience in the natural gas industry? BCT has an amazing client in DFW with a direct-hire Data Scientist opportunity to start immediately.

SALARY OFFERED: Up to $100K depending on candidates experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create SQL queries plus use statistics and algorithms to improve models
• Work with Electronic Flow Management System (EFM) across 10k + devices with years of data
• Break down & correlate the data with weather, temperature, etc. to provide a plan on how to replace batteries in these devices over time
• Map data elements to have a planned conclusion
• Partner & collaborate with other seasoned Data Scientists & Analysts from other groups across the organization

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have to be a self-starter with a strong willingness to learn and be challenged
• Excellent verbal & written communication to present very complex information in simple English for a diverse audience of employees, customers, vendors, etc.
• Strong documenting skills for management and improving processes
• Experience with Tableau, SQL Queries, Dashboards, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
• Proficient Tech writing skills and Analyst skills required
