Responsibilities


Involved in the analysis of unstructured and semi-structured data, including latent semantic indexing (LSI), entity identification and tagging, complex event processing (CEP), and the application of analysis algorithms on distributed, clustered, and cloud-based high-performance infrastructures. Exercises creativity in applying non-traditional approaches to large-scale analysis of unstructured data in support of high-value use cases visualized through multi-dimensional interfaces. Handle processing and index requests against high-volume collections of data and high-velocity data streams. Has the ability to make discoveries in the world of big data. Requires strong technical and computational skills - engineering, physics, mathematics, coupled with the ability to code design, develop, and deploy sophisticated applications using advanced unstructured and semi-structured data analysis techniques and utilizing high-performance computing environments. Has the ability to utilize advance tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions. Experience with software development, either an open-source enterprise software development stack (Java/Linux/Ruby/Python) or a Windows development stack (.NET, C#, C++). Experience with data transport and transformation APIs and technologies such as JSON, XML, XSLT, JDBC, SOAP and REST. Experience with Cloud-based data analysis tools including Hadoop and Mahout, Acumulo, Hive, Impala, Pig, and similar. Experience with visual analytic tools like Microsoft Pivot, Palantir, or Visual Analytics. Experience with open source textual processing such as Lucene, Sphinx, Nutch or Solr. Experience with entity extraction and conceptual search technologies such as LSI, LDA, etc. Experience with machine learning, algorithm analysis, and data clustering.


The applicant will be responsible for development of a robust survey system in ServiceNow, including design of branching logic and conditional questions. Responsibilities include collaboration with SMEs to develop question sets, analyze results and combining disparate data sets to determine root cause of customer dissatisfaction. Analysis will require use of statistical tools such as SAS, Excel, R Studio, etc. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization.


The ideal candidate qualifications include:


  • Experience developing customer satisfaction surveys
  • Experience implementing new data analysis methodologies
  • ServiceNow administrator/developer with ability to set up standard surveys as well as develop unique sampling capabilities and branching logic
  • Experience documenting technical details covering survey tool modification and methodology
  • Ability to perform data assimilation, modeling and dashboarding
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting disparate data sets
  • Experience creating various levels of reporting and data visualizations
  • Ability to find patterns in data and create data architecture to support data analytics, data exploration, data visualization and data mining
  • Experience establishing best practices for naming, governing, managing, modeling, cleansing, transforming, moving, storing, and searching data

Qualifications


Minimum Education Requirements:


  • BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5, or relevant experience
  • Degree in business administration, business management, information systems, information technology, engineering, or equivalent experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum Certification Requirements-Currently hold one or more of the following: ability to obtain all:


  • ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4 Foundation to align with the latest version of DESMF - or ability to obtain / maintain
Desired Experience Level Requirements:


  • Financial, Business and/or Technical Experience 10+ years
  • Strong Communication and professional skills - recognized leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and challenging deliverables and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with customer senior leadership and networking at various levels within the organization
  • Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements
  • Business Intelligence / Analytics Reporting Experience
  • Performance Management Reporting Experience / SLA Reporting and design
  • Document Management Experience - ability to create / review formal contractual governmental documents
  • Quality Management Experience - ability to design quality plans, metrics, and similar
  • Financial Management Experience
  • Contractual Management - ability to become SME on the contract and related documentation
  • Communication / Training
  • Expertise in Technical and Software areas (IT tools, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Excel/Word/PowerPoint, Analytical Software or Tools, SQL or similar exposure, etc)
  • IT Process Familiarity (SACM, ITIL, Financial, etc)
  • Improvement and Quality focused - ability to drive change and improvement across the Account (project management skills)

Range for Posting


Salary Minimum: $57,500


Salary Mid: $115,000


Salary Maximum: $143,800


The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
