Financial Insights Data Analyst

Our client, a major player in internet services and products, is on the lookout for a Financial Insights Data Analyst to join their dynamic team on a 13-month contract in Dublin. With a flexible hybrid work setup, this role offers the perfect balance between collaboration and autonomy.

About the Role:

In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving business decisions by creating and managing a variety of trading reports and scorecards. These tools will empower Sales Leaders with actionable insights to drive growth. You’ll also design intuitive dashboards that help Managers track customer activation and identify new opportunities. Additionally, you’ll become the go-to expert in one or more key business areas, such as Emerging Markets, offering specialized support to Sales Leaders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Reporting Excellence: Produce and maintain weekly scorecards and reports, ensuring top-tier accuracy and clarity for senior leadership.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with EMEA Finance colleagues to enhance report usability, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
• Drive Insights: Analyze revenue trends and key performance metrics, delivering actionable insights that help Sales Leaders optimize team performance.
• Automate and Improve: Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements, driving efficiency across the team.
• Stay Connected: Engage with Finance teams across the EMEA business to spot trends, share best practices, and foster collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of relevant work experience in financial or other data-intensive roles
• Experience working with SQL and databases
• Strong experience in reporting and reporting analysis
• Strong experience with creating, maintaining and updating dashboards

Conditions

• Contract type: PAYE
• Duration: 13 months
• Pay: Up to 105k / year
• Location: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite) – Dublin 4
