We are now recruiting for an experienced HR Systems & Data Analyst to join our friendly People & Culture Team in Leyland. You’ll be our ‘go to’ person for data and analytics, delivering reports to our key stakeholders, keeping our HR system (Cascade) up to date with organisational changes and turning analytics request into actionable information.
This is a key role in our structure and as such we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about data, trends and solutions and who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You will have previous experience of running reports from a HR system, ideally Cascade, as well having advanced Excel skills and experience of developing end user dashboards through Power BI or similar.
Hybrid working will be considered for the right candidate, with a minimum of 3 days per week based in the office.
Key Tasks:
- Provide accurate scheduled and ad hoc People and Management Information
- Build and create new and customised reports mainly from our employee database (Cascade), exporting and manipulating data, producing high quality outputs and providing commentary on trends
- Support the wider HR team on being proficient at ad hoc report running
- Quality assure and analyse reports and data to ensure integrity and accuracy
- Be fully understanding and compliant of internal and external data security regulations and the need to use data in a sensitive manner
- Identify opportunities for improvements and contribute to the drive for efficiency of the reporting provision, including the use of Power BI
- Keep organisation charts up to date and create new ones as required
To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Advanced Excel knowledge and specific experience of:
Advanced Formulas including vlookup
Pivot Tables and Pivot Reporting
Conditional Formatting
Power BI (or similar)
- Previous experience formatting large amounts of data
- Experience using and running reports from a HR database, ideally Cascade
- Able to handle multiple priorities and shift gears quickly and meet deadlines
- A keen ability to think critically to resolve problems
- Focus on quality in output. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to identify root causes for problems and recommend solutions which meet customer needs
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
