PURPOSE OF THE ROLE (This section describes the basic reason why the role exists)

The Role will perform data science on the HR and organization data to create Value for the business. The person would be joining the People Analytics team of Adani group and one of the foremost members to develop Advanced Analytics. The person would be required to develop predictive and prescriptive analytics through analytics and various statistics techniques. The person would be performing analysis and developing products which can be used by COE and business at the Enterprise level. The role would lead developing and migrating analysis and algorithms to Google Cloud Platform. We are looking to build best in class Analytics products to support business requirements. The analytics is required to provide business insights and help in taking workforce decisions to support Group & BU strategies.

Key Areas of Accountability



  • Working with Group and Business IT and HR teams, Shared Services team, vendors to identify business problems, formulate solutions to business problems and develop solutions.
  • Develop analysis using ML/AI algorithms and embedding into forward looking products
  • Work with vendors to evaluate and verify their architecture and solutions. Evaluate the quality of AI in their solutions to provide feedback and improve the value derived from the solutions.
  • Engage and advise the wider People Team on HR systems and Reporting, applying insights to make recommendations for new ways of working.
  • Apply advanced and predictive analysis, people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision-making (e.g., staffing, learning and development, talent management, diversity, and human resource compliance)
  • Develop GCP infrastructure to provide insights and models for enterprise consumption
  • To regularly assess the quality and sufficiency of data elements to meet Organizations’ needs to develop insights.
  • Assess and support data quality, data governance, areas of responsibility and security implementations.
  • To take part in the ongoing HR analytics strategy and products to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Develop analysis on Google Cloud Platform to support reports for operations, COE, businesses, HR leadership team and the management.
  • The Analytics models developed over time, would need to be deployed in GCP and output be merged with operational and strategic reporting. The DWH should be co-developed to support model serving and deployment.
  • Serve the needs of Adani’s People functions on topics including, but not limited to recruitment, career development, employee engagement; case team excellence; diversity and inclusion and mobility & staffing.
  • Leverage advanced analytics to inform and measure impactful workforce strategies in support of Adani’ global talent strategy

  • Ability to analyze & co-relate data in an Inorganically growing organization with lot of businesses.
  • Evolve structured approach to Analytics leverage – from Descriptive to Predictive, using AI, ML, NLP capabilities
  • Making use of existing HDM data from multiple sources and interfaces with evolving processes
  • Understand the dynamics of rapidly growing organization and how systems should support them
  • Few processes might be broken or having manual inputs, decreasing the quality of data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, or any other quantitative discipline
  • Certification in Statistics / Data Analytics from reputed institute


Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Advanced Analytics
  • Hands on experience and exposure in design and implementation of AI/ML and NLP-based solutions
  • Strong applied mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills to interpret descriptive and inferential statistics
  • Experience in AWS or GCP in one of the Cloud frameworks
  • Knowledge of HR Management Information Systems (MIS) is good to have
  • Experience in SQL and any Visualization tools is
  • Proven deep expertise in the fields of machine learning, statistical modelling, complex data analysis, natural language processing and deep learning
