This role is part of IDT Marketing.
The Data Engineer role is a highly visible position that is an integral part of the IDT team with tremendous career growth opportunities. This position provides an opportunity for technology leadership and support to cross-functional client areas and the IDT leadership team.Reports to:

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Serves as a productive project team member delivering high quality results for assigned tasks. Assists the project manager with project planning by assisting with the development of work plans, effort estimates and delivery timelines for assigned tasks
Maintains awareness of emerging technology and communicates value/impact for supported functions.
Analyzes business and client needs to ensure that their big data platform related needs are supported, forecasted, incorporated into technology roadmaps and ultimately implemented in a platform as a service model.
Lead coding and architecting of end-to-end applications on modern data processing technology stack (e.g., Cloud, Spark ecosystem technologies)
Drive collaborative reviews of design, code, data, features implementation performed by other data engineers in support of maintaining data engineering standards
Tests, integrates, and maintains technology services, considering cross-functional business needs and Company goals.
Coordinates issue resolution with cross functional teams and vendors.
Builds IDT Department services acumen to effectively leverage existing IDT services to meet client needs.

How efficient are you with managing ETL Workflows?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEPySpark Experience:
2+ years.Cloud Data Warehousing:
3+ years.Databricks Experience:
Demonstrated experience with Data Warehouse structures and MPP database functionality (Snowflake, Redshift).
Ability to quickly understand data structures/requirements.
Expertise and experience with software development and related techniques and methodologies such as Agile.
Experience with development of analytics and data science-based solutions using open source tools and libraries is required.
Productionalize the full pipeline including distributed Machine Learning models and ETL workflows (e.g., training/test pipeline, offer eligibility, data layer, feature layer, etc.)
Proficient in Big Data Technologies
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer information systems or related area required, or related business experience.
History of Databricks work in large environment
History of cloud data warehouse in large environment
AWS Data Analytics Certification
