Role And Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at Kaara Info Systems, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing queries to extract valuable insights from large datasets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing data lakes and data warehouses using industry best practices, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data quality.
- Collaborating with Data Scientists to understand their data requirements and translating them into technical specifications for data models and schemas.
- Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into the data lake and data warehouse, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Monitoring and maintaining the performance and health of the data lake and data warehouse, implementing necessary optimizations and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Implementing data governance and security measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and protect sensitive information.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data from different systems and sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in data engineering and analytics, and evaluating their potential application to improve existing systems and processes.
