- Collaborating with Data Scientists to understand their data requirements and translating them into technical specifications for data models and schemas.
- Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into the data lake and data warehouse, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Monitoring and maintaining the performance and health of the data lake and data warehouse, implementing necessary optimizations and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Implementing data governance and security measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and protect sensitive information.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data from different systems and sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in data engineering and analytics, and evaluating their potential application to improve existing systems and processes.
To excel in this role, you should have:
