We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our Machine Learning & Data Science Team. Here you will be a strategic partner within our B2B/Enterprise Team to perform statistical analyses of user data and help integrate those insights into our product.

By deeply understanding how to leverage user insights, you will be partnering across the organization with leaders to identify and scope high impact projects. About The Role

Critical Analyses:
  • Think critically and leverage data to test and iterate on new product features and business strategies
  • Define client usage, churn, and other key metrics for our enterprise, and
  • Setup analytical framework for partner behavior, including client journeys and B2B2C marketing funnels
  • Build and automate reports, as well as iteratively develop and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale
  • Query databases from multiple marketing and product sources and create usable KPI dashboards

Statistical modeling:
  • Support business objectives through statistical modeling through the prediction of main KPIs such as churn and retention
  • Design, implement and maintain machine learning models to automate and optimize marketing, operations, and customer experience
  • A/B testing and causal modeling

Communication & Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to complete
  • Full-stack data science analysis and present insights to both the data science team and internal company stakeholders.

About You
  • Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, management science and engineering or a closely related field
  • One year as Data Scientist (Business Intelligence) involving data extraction, analysis, and statistical modeling

Proficiency in skills listed as evidenced by at 3 months experience in each:
  • Python/R, SQL, git, airflow and common data science and machine learning libraries (pandas, sklearn, etc.)
  • Programming languages HTML and CSS
  • AWS platform
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices, proficient with BI Platforms (Tableau)
  • Ability to communicate complex analyses to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $150,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate's relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
