The Data and Digital Group at Bureau of Meteorology provides the data, infrastructure and systems to underpin the Bureau's core operations in the National Forecast Services and Business Solutions Groups, from measurement and collection through to production and dissemination. The Group ensures that data is managed at a whole of enterprise level along the full value chain, from the observations network, links to the global meteorological community and partner agency data, through to the high-performance computation needed to generate forecasts and downstream products and services.
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Digital Analytics Team within the User-Centred Design Program. This important role will help the Bureau to deliver services that meet user needs. You will have previously worked in similar roles with demonstrated capacity to identify and communicate business insights derived from in-depth analysis of complex datasets.
Good communication skills, ability to work well as part of a team and excellent attention to detail are all important for this role.
You must also have prepared analytics reports and dashboards for business stakeholders and senior executives and demonstrated effective communication skills and excellent problem solving skills. You can demonstrate how you have effectively worked within a cross functional team including designers, developers and product owners.
