You will be responsible for providing high quality data-driven insights, reporting and analytics, in order to support business initiatives and our customer engagement strategy. Your insights will help us to enhance the customer experience across our products, training and education, and inform our customers and stakeholders about trends and topical issues within the superannuation and investments sector.
This role is based in Sydney, adopting a hybrid work model between home and office (Sydney CBD).

Key responsibilities:

  • Build out data dictionaries and analytical models geared at revealing insights
  • Extract and manipulate data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Conduct customer data modelling (e.g. segmentation and propensity modelling)
  • Mantain assets around reporting, research and insights
  • Build reporting tools which can be refreshed on a regular basis
  • Create written communications and visuals which are tailored to a variety of different audiences – technical, non-technical and executive
  • Develop a working knowledge of superannuation, trusts, investments, and other subject matter related to our software suite
  • Keep abreast of industry metrics, reports and trends, as well as developments within the Fintech space.

What you'll need:

  • 1-2 years’ experience within customer analytics
  • Solid technical skills in SQL, as well as Python and/or R
  • Advanced Excel skills (and you're preferably proficient in Power Pivot)
  • A degree in Applied Statistics or Mathematics
  • Experience within the SaaS space (desirable)
  • Experience with agile ways of working (desirable)
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques (desirable).
