As a Data Scientist you will unlock value from data by providing actionable insights that drive customer and business value.
The principal responsibility of the Data Scientist is to be an independent contributor to multi-person analytic teams. This position has a depth of knowledge in quantitative analytic methods, data management, and or associated digital technologies suitable to handle the most complex issues. Challenges include meeting expectations in delivering results, learning to refine solutions to better fit complex situations, making timely decisions, and communicating effectively with all project stakeholders.
What will you do?
Develop and implement machine learning algorithms, reports, and visualizations leveraging equipment time series data to make operation more efficient and reliable
Work with business partners to understand informational needs and dive into data to identify insights, ultimately driving sound business decisions
Use data quality practices to ensure the integrity of the data being used
Minimize technical debt and focus on reproducibility (keep docs/code up to date, prepare for future use cases, etc.) and automation of reports by building end to end pipelines
Make decisions on routine, medium risk issues that may affect the project team, suppliers, or internal customers
What do you need?
Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, statistics or a similar field and 4-5 years of professional experience (or) Master’s degree and 2-3 years of experience (or) a PhD in one of the associated fields
Experience in advance machine learning algorithms, working with API’s and industry standard coding and visualization tools Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake or equivalent
