We're seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to lead the architectural decisions and implementation

of a revolutionary product for one of our key clients in the green energy sector. This is your

chance to build a cutting-edge data infrastructure from the ground up, empowering our client to

optimize and manage their solar and wind farms with unprecedented efficiency.

In This Role, You Will

Be the Architect: Design and implement a robust and scalable data warehouse solution

to handle large volumes of data from various sources related to solar and wind energy

production.

Drive Innovation: Utilize your expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud

technologies to build a data platform that enables advanced analytics, predictive

modeling, and real-time insights.

Collaborate Closely: Work directly with our client and internal teams in Portugal and Brazil

to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver

impactful solutions.

Champion Best Practices: Establish and maintain high standards for data quality,

security, and governance throughout the data lifecycle.

Embrace Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of data engineering trends and

technologies, constantly seeking ways to improve our solutions and processes.

We're Looking For Someone With

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Engineering, and Data Analysis

projects.

  • 2+ years of experience leading small teams, projects, or products.
  • Proven experience building data warehouses from the ground up, including design,

implementation, and operation.

  • Experience with Data Vault modeling (design, implementation, operation) is highly

valuable.

  • Strong expertise in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g.,

Power BI, Tableau).

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and working with large datasets in cloud

environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Snowflake experience is a plus.

  • Expert in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • A collaborative mindset that values diverse viewpoints.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality solutions and learning new technologies.
