Our client is expanding and currently seeks a
- DATA ANALYST*

- Overview:* The Data Analyst role is responsible for researching and documenting data lineage details, from original data source to points of consumption, including data transformation details, risks and controls. In addition, the analyst will assist in documenting data quality rules and measuring points and other key metadata details. The candidate should be proficient in common coding languages and database researching.
- Requirements:*
- 1-2 years of experience in data lineage capture or equivalent work with data.
- Experience handling and deriving information from large data sets, including experience with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Datameer, SQL, Python, JIRA etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology staff at different levels of seniority.
- Position Responsibilities:*
- Perform the identification and documentation of Critical Data Elements across prioritized data domains.
- Perform the documentation and integration of metadata into the data management platform across prioritized data domains.
- Perform attribute level data lineage research and documentation from front end source systems to reporting servers to reporting platforms.
- Perform the identification and documentation of data risks and controls with a focus on front-end source systems.
- Support the alignment of technical metadata, risk and control documentation for Reports and Data Domains.
- Support carry over of FY 2022 scope related to strategic data sourcing and report automation including data flow and logic replication, testing and issue resolution in intermediary and reporting systems.
- Education:**
- 4 year degree *required.*
