Description de la mission

Your Mission
The Global Analytics & Data Products Team is looking for a Data Science leader. As a thought leader within the team, your mission is to put science into decision making by leading the Data Science Incubator.

Priorities can change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
  • Being the trusted expert charged with evolving our ML driven feature roadmap to Stallantis' software group
  • Lead internal thought leadership discussions to identify product and customer innovation opportunities
  • Oversee the development of models and algorithms including machine/deep learning, multivariate statistics, optimization, exploration, and manipulation;
  • Managing daily operations of a global team, including; code reviews, ideation and assist in design, as required
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists with a wide range of backgrounds
  • Help define technical direction and architecture with engineering team members
  • Democratize and socialize learning by acting as editor of a centralized learning repository and external blog
  • Evangelize our data science practice outside the company to attract data use cases and recruit new talent

  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to identify and meet the needs of others in their team and across the company
  • Experience with building, deploying, and maintaining recommendation systems in a live environment
  • General machine learning expertise, i.e. regression, classification, and clustering algorithms, time-series analysis, Bayesian methods, and survival analysis.
  • Prototype-to-production engineering skills in Python, including best practices such as source control, proper documentation, library packaging, versioning, testing, containerization, CI/CD, and task scheduling
  • Professional habits around model validation, testing, and tracking.
  • Measurable revenue and customer experience impact through analysis, statistical models or products built
  • Qualitative and quantitative deductions from experimentation that lead to product optimization
  • Deep product sense, with a solid understanding of user engagement and monetization strategies


Player Skills
  • Advanced degree required with technical focus (e.g. Statistics, computer science, physics, economics, etc.)
  • 7+ years of total experience in analytics/ data science
  • Advanced Python, SQL and Spark skills.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, e.g. statistical power analysis, significance testing, t-tests, ANOVA.
  • Engineering experience in at least one cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with IoT/Edge AI and optimizing ML models to run on-device with constrained compute, power and latency budgets
