About the position
As a Senior Clinical Data Scientist, you will be building clinical databases with data collected from clinical trials. You will also be a representative from data science when collaborating with stakeholders such as statisticians, medical writers, data managers and a team of clinical data scientists. In this role you will be responsible for planning and coordinating programming tasks for a team of clinical data scientist and occasionally programming statistical outputs. You will mainly work in SAS or R.



About the department
The Biostatistics department is a part of the Data Science organization and consists of 250 statisticians and statistical programmers globally. About 200 is situated in Denmark in Søborg and Aalborg offices. Biostatistics are organised in smaller units within clinical therapeutic areas ensuring close collaboration with our various stakeholders.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a M.Sc. or Ph.D. within life science, computer science or a related area and extensive knowledge of programming and handling of databases. We see that you have at least 3 years of experience with biological or clinical data either within research or development is highly appreciated. Analysis of clinical data is highly regulated, therefore good documentation skills are needed.

Furthermore, experience with python, SAS, basic CDISC, ADaM or R-programming language and data analysis within clinical development is preferable but not a requirement. Good collaboration and communication skills as well as planning and organizing skills are needed for the job.


The position can be based in Denmark (Aalborg or Søborg with possibility of part time working from home).
