Each piece of Komatsu earthmoving equipment streams live data into our cloud databases. The Remote Health Monitoring team processes this data to detect developing faults or misuse and tracks the machine’s performance. Our team is composed of data scientists who create algorithms, data engineers that support the execution of the analytics suite, and subject matter experts that review the algorithm’s results.
We work on time-series data, and mainly perform pattern recognition or unsupervised anomaly detection. Our algorithms use a variety of methods: from formal logic to statistical/Bayesian methods, all the way to deep learning models.
This is 12 month fixed term contract

Requirements and Skills:
We seek candidates with a background in Mathematics, Science or Engineering and with exposure to data analytics through an advanced degree and/or industry experience.
