About the role

This role is an integral part of the 1Kerry Plant Transformation Program which is our multi-year program designed to deliver on our goal of becoming an industry leading end to end Supply Chain organisation.

In conjunction with the Change Agent and Functional SME’s the GIO Data Analyst will enable the delivery of the overall Plant Transformation strategy.

Please note as this is a global role the successful candidate can be based anywhere in Europe and can work remotely full time in the role if they are not located near a Kerry facility. You must have full working rights in Europe to be considered for this position.

Key responsibilities

This role is responsible for working with business stakeholders to generate actionable insights from large and complex datasets.

The successful candidate will;

  • Play a critical role in the 1 Kerry Plant Deployment team managing the collection, cleansing, integration & analysis of key data points from Kerry’s core systems (SAP, Salesforce) to support the identification of value levers.
  • Support future state design work by conducting in-depth analysis across key data characteristics in order to identify trends and patterns for process improvements.
  • Generate dashboards using visualisation tools (Power BI) to allow for easy generation and interpretation of actionable insights collaborating with counterparts within and outside the regions.
  • Communicate insights to key stakeholders across the organisation ranging from Integrated Operations to Commercial and Finance colleagues.
  • Help demonstrate the value of data & analytics across Plant Leadership Teams and Global Integrated Operations Stakeholders.
  • Throughout the programme be a subject matter expert in data & analytics.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or post graduate qualification in Data Analysis.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working as Data Analyst preferably in a manufacturing organisation or related field.
  • Outstanding analytical and numerical skills with experience using statistical techniques and concepts.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • The capacity to conduct data quality control and validation.
  • Experience in using of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau with advanced Excel skills and proficient in the use of Powerpoint.
  • The ability to work and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, conversing knowledgably to positively influence the program.
  • Intellectual curiosity showing an ability to dive deeper than surface results
  • Understanding factory processes or experience of working in a manufacturing setting, and knowledge or experience in SAP is desirable but not essential.
