We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our Data Science and Business Intelligence Department as a Data Engineer Team Member.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $140,000-$180,000 based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Code Versioning: Use Git for code versioning and collaboration on data projects.
• Data Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker to support business decision making.
• Data Integration: Utilize tools like HVR and Matillion to integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Data Analysis & Modeling: Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and build efficient data models.
• Data Warehousing: Manage and optimize data storage solutions on platforms like Amazon Redshifts to enable efficient querying and data analysis.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including data science, software engineering, and business intelligence, to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
• Data Pipeline Management: Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines to handle large volumes of data efficiently using Spark and other big data technologies.
• Machine Learning Support: Collaborate on the development and deployment of machine learning models, ensuring proper data preprocessing and management.
• ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various data sources to our data warehouse.

Required:

• Master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data focused role.
• Previous experience with Amazon Redshift.
• Previous experience in Python for data processing and analysis.
• Previous experience in developing ETL workflows and data pipelines.
• Working knowledge of HVR and Matillion for data integration.
• Working knowledge in Power BI and Looker for building impactful dashboards.
• Working knowledge in SQL for querying, analysis, and database management.
• Ability to be familiar with Spark for data processing.
• Ability to be proficient with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Ability to understand machine learning concepts and to work with ML models.
