Roles Summary
Reporting to the Brand Quality Manager of Small Crossover vehicles, the Data Analyst will support various technical functions including Brand Quality, Recall/Investigations and Warranty Administration. This outstanding cross-functional opportunity will provide the ability to learn about quality operations, product investigations, recalls, warranty and customer and dealer support! Additionally, the chosen candidate will have the opportunity to interact with various departments and executives.
Support data analysis on investigations into product conditions
Identify trends and emerging issues
Support the creation of tools to automate data collection
Active in support of the day to day business operations
Active in special projects as they arise
Required Qualifications
Enrolled in an Engineering, Math, Science, Computer Science, Computer and Software Engineering, or related Co-Op degree program; and in your 2nd or 3rd year of study
Eligible to work full-time (40 hours/week), and for 8 months work term (2 consecutive semesters) starting May 2021
A highly developed analytical skill set is required in order to contribute in the investigations and business decisions using a data first approach
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a special focus on Excel and Access
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate across various departments
Strong willingness to self-learn and develop new skills
Able and willing to conduct work from home while COVID-19 protocols are in place
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Vehicle Technical knowledge would be considered an asset
Completed courses in statistics in beneficial
