Responsible for production planning and forecasting for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)’s food packing operations. Calculate rates and plan production schedule to achieve annual production goals. Analyze organizational data, mine for insights, and prepare reports that help inform business decisions. Participate in process improvement initiatives and supply chain project teams.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits:
This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position. Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday during daytime business hours. Approximately 5% expenses-paid local/domestic travel is required.

What You’ll Do:
Plan production schedule across multiple manufacturing plants and mobile manufacturing events. Respond to changing production needs and calculate production rates for each plant for weekly manufacturing runs.
Manage the rolling production forecast and perform analysis on production variances due to labor rates (volunteer activity). Identify trends and communicate successes and improvement areas to management.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in organizational data sets (production, volunteers, donations)
Utilize data mining to build reports that assist in business decision making.
Lead weekly production meetings and prepare recap reports for Supply Chain, International Programs and Manufacturing teams. Manage and facilitate communication between departments.
Research and evaluate process improvements for supply chain operations. Recommend solutions, develop reports, conduct business analysis, create documentation, train others and support implementation as necessary. Participate on project teams.
Act as an ERP system power user. Administer system functions, train users and troubleshoot problems.
Assist with the entry and closing of production jobs as needed.
Establish, document, update and ensure adherence to production practices and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum of bachelor’s degree and 3 years of supply chain experience required. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience will be considered.
Advanced competencies with Microsoft Excel and database systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Power BI experience preferred.

Work location is hybrid/remote. Office location will be Eagan, MN or Schaumburg, IL. Reports to Vice President of Supply Chain.
