Data Analyst/Developer

The role

Provide data driven insights and industrialise analytical solutions for widespread use across Suncorp’s technology and finance functions.

What You’ll Bring

• Proactively develop and maintain data analytics to enable decision making for the Technology function, leading to optimal cost outcomes
• Utilise appropriate, best of breed tooling to develop analytical solutions (key tools will include SQL, advanced Power BI data modelling & DAX)
• Use data analytics to make specific recommendations, articulated clearly
• Collaborate with other members of the Technology Finance & Analytics team to develop effective, timely solutions, in line with established best practice
• Develop and in-depth understanding of issues and opportunities across Suncorp’s technology function, enabling the development of appropriate solutions
• Ensure that all Technology Function centric analytical solutions are well governed, always refreshed on time, and accurate
• Help drive a higher level of data literacy across Finance
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Qualifications in Accounting/Finance (mandatory)
• 5+ years’ finance experience, preferably within / supporting a technology function
• Proven ability to develop data centric solutions using appropriate tooling (e.g. Power BI, SQL)
