[What the role is]

As a Data Scientist in Digital Transformation Office @ NYP, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of data and AI-driven decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing complex data sets, developing algorithms, and implementing AI solutions for NYP.

[What you will be working on]

• Be part of the digital transformation team to implement new initiatives in the areas of advanced analytics and AI.
• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning and LLM projects for various business use cases.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize the performance and scalability of AI applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data engineers, data analysts, product managers, and domain experts to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Research and implement best practices and emerging trends in AI.
• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned to support digital transformation efforts in NYP.
  
  

[What we are looking for]

• Suitable academic or professional qualificationin in the area of computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing data science or machine learning projects.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and common data preparation, data science and machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas).
• Knowledge of AI operations tools and methodologies (e.g., MLOps, CI/CD).
• Experience in deploying and managing AI applications in cloud environments would be an added advantage (e.g., AWS, Databricks).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
